  Impress Your interviewer Now!
  - by Steven Chong

During bad economic times such as this, it is important for any jobseeker to understand the importance of each interview opportunity. As that is the only time that you get to impress the interviewer with your skill sets, you must be well prepared when you go for the job interview. Therefore it becomes important to have an interview strategy through scripting your answers, and practising your replies to questions so that you are able to ace your interview by presenting a confident and composed image.

More than 90 participants, who attended our career event on the 6 December 2008 facilitated by Steven Chong, were exposed to the frequently asked questions at job interviews, and the best ways to answer those questions.

As Steven advised, "A jobseeker can prepare as much as possible before the interview, but he or she should never memorize his or her answers. When you memorize your answers to the questions, you will spend your time recalling your answers at the interview, inst
ead of presenting a confident and composed image."
