An interview is an opportunity for interaction between the employee and the prospective employer to learn more about each other. The potential candidate should maximize such opportunities as they come along. The biggest mistake in going for a job interview is not being fully prepared, and any job applicant should understand that to perfect an interview requires preparation and practice.
Wong Kok Wah, the facilitator, conducted an impressive talk to more than 100 participants on 8th March 2008, on how to plan and strategize before going for a job interview. Having injected humor and informative content in his lively presentation, Kok Wah not only managed to build rapport with the participants, but also successfully captured their attention and stimulated endless questions from real-life examples from the audience.
Given the enthusiastic audience, engaging speaker, and constant exchange of queries, tips, examples and advice, the talk ended much later than intended. And a handful of participants even stayed back to continue their interesting interaction with Kok Wah.
