A personality talk was jointly organised by JobsDB.com and Republic Polytechnic (RP) on 25th January 2007 to prepare RP students in planning for their career after graduation. JobsDB.com's Managing Director, Mr. Steven Seek, was the distinguished speaker. According to Mr. Seek, every person has their own character traits that make him or her suitable or unsuitable for a certain job. Understanding oneself is therefore the first step in planning for that career path to success.

Prior to this personality talk, more than 70 RP students had participated in a personality test. Today, each of them has received an individual 10-page assessment report and Mr. Seek even gave them an insight on understanding their reports as well as how to make use of them to plan for their career.
