To be able to speak and present oneself with ease and grace is an art. While some people find speaking in public intimidating, others love the attention they get from it.

On 13th January 2007, more than 70 participants attended a workshop on "The Art of Public Speaking" at the URA Centre. Facilitated by Miss Lora Lee, participants learnt that public speaking is more than just standing up in front of other people to speak, overcoming stage fright and building confidence. It is a journey of self-discovery, success, power and respect. Some participants were also given the opportunity to put the information they learnt into immediate practice.
