Job seekers today are faced with the challenge of higher competition for available jobs in the market. In a Resume Writing Workshop on 15th July, the facilitator, Steven Chong, spoke to over 160 participants on the fundamentals of writing a focused resume and cover letter to land an interview for the much-coveted job.

Participants learnt the key parts that make up a good and effective resume and cover letter as well as common mistakes to avoid. Also, emphasizing and drawing attention to one's strengths relevant to the applied position in the resume is crucial for successful call-ins of interviews.
