  Peak Your Interview Performance

Do you know what it takes to score an advantage over other candidates during an interview?

Your poise, tone of voice or even confidence level will determine largely whether you get the job. An interview comprises of three stages - before, during and after. Every stage must be thought through carefully and strategize to increase your chance of getting selected.

By having a well-targeted resume and cover letter, you stand a better chance of being invited for an interview for the coveted job that you are applying for. Once invited, you should start the preparation for the interview by formulating your strategy, scripting your answers and practising your replies. You want to impress the interviewer as well as to impress upon him/her that you are the best person for the job. Being invited to a job interview is difficult. A job applicant must maximize such opportunities when they come along.

Different interviewers expect different qualities in a candidate. As long as you remember the rule of thumb that applies to any interview - adequate preparation, half the battle is won.
