H ow was your experience at the expo?
I enjoyed visiting the career expo and it was great to see so many companies that were actually looking to hire talent. And as a fresh graduate, this definitely makes it useful for me to look for jobs there.
You just started work as a Product Controller at a bank.
What’s your job like?
My job scope involves analyzing Profit and Loss statements and I also review financial reports to understand whether companies are operating efficiently or not.
Sounds like you deal with a lot of numbers
everyday.
Is it challenging?
Not really, once you get the hang of things and understand what key elements to look out for when analyzing data, it becomes quite manageable. I guess it also helps that my studies in Engineering have equipped me with important analytical and problem solving skills to perform my job well.
Has it been useful being a JobsDB.com jobseeker member?
It certainly has. I’ve been a jobseeker member for more than a year now, and I really like how the JobsDB.com website has so many job postings and is always updated regularly, not to forget that it is also very user-friendly and easy to navigate around. I will definitely continue to be a jobseeker member!
