Report on Wages in Singapore 2007 and Singapore Yearbook of Manpower Statistics 2008

The
Report on Wages in Singapore, 2007 is the twenty-second edition published by the Manpower Research and Statistics Department of the Ministry of Manpower. This Report presents the main findings of the Survey on Annual Wage Changes, 2007 and the Occupational Wage Survey, 2007. The Report also contains wage data collected by the Central Provident Fund Board and various institutions of higher learning. The National Wages Council (NWC) Wage Guidelines For 2008/2009 is also included in the Report.

The “Singapore Yearbook of Manpower Statistics” contains a wide range of key statistical information on the labour market. These include key data on labour force, job vacancies,wages, labour turnover, hours worked, conditions of employment, labour relations, retrenchments, workplace injuries, higher education and skills training.

Wherever possible, time-series data from 1997 to 2007 are included. This Yearbook is the 32nd edition published by the Manpower Research and Statistics Department of the Ministry of Manpower.
