Chermaine, so what’s your job like?
I’ve been working as a marketing coordinator with an Internet business for 4 months now, and I’m really thrilled as this is my first working experience ever!
Through my job, I’ve gained vast insights into the corporate world and also learnt how a marketing department functions on a daily basis. My job scope involves helping to plan corporate events, providing customer support and I also get to formulate marketing analysis charts and conduct competitor analysis and research.
I intend to study marketing at University this August, so I’m sure that this work experience will be very valuable for me and give me the edge when I start my degree. Being part of the marketing team has deepened my understanding on the job scope of a marketing executive, which has in turn, further propelled my interest and passion in marketing. My colleagues have also been very helpful in helping me to learn new skills and to grow more confident in my abilities at work.
What’s great about being a JobsDB.com member?
Many things are great! I got my current job as a marketing coordinator through JobsDB.com Singapore to start with.
JobsDB.com Singapore is also very user-friendly and it’s easy to look for jobs on it as well. I particularly like the section on ‘View All Jobs’, where I can quickly view all the latest job openings – it’s fast and very convenient, especially when I’m in a rush for time.
JobsDB.com also organizes a lot of useful and enriching seminars that help to enhance our career, like “How to have an effective interview” and “Personal branding for corporate success”.
I’ve personally attended a few of the seminars and the speakers are always knowledgeable and professional in their presentations. The best part is that the seminars are very reasonably priced, which is good for fresh graduates, and students like myself.
And as a jobseeker member, the ‘Daily Alerts’ email service which sends you all the latest relevant job openings ensures that you won’t have to miss out on applying for a great job!
